Shirtordress Type #7a: The Long Shirt
The Long Shirt As a Dress: It's a mystery and so is "mank ind." I know, they are definitely long enough to be dresses. Sure, the fingertips rule (standard dress code procedure - if a garment is longer than your fingertips, it's long enough) could be cited here. However, I could wear an XL t-shirt and it would be long enough to be a "dress" by these standards. But the shape isn't there. The structure isn't there. And I've seen some shorts that are super short but are still super cute. So the fingertips rule doesn't cut it for me always when determining shirtordressness.
Check out past posts on this subject, this one being my favorite!
